Thank you to The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology, our presenting sponsor for Portland Take Steps 2023!
The Oregon Clinic has been a dedicated partner in our efforts to raise awareness and funds for those affected by IBD. Their commitment to this cause has been exceptional, and we are thrilled to have them as our presenting sponsor. You may also recognize Dr. David Grunkemeier from The Oregon Clinic, who will be emceeing again this year!
Thanks to the generosity of The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology, we can continue to provide vital support to individuals and families affected by IBD, and work towards finding a cure for these debilitating conditions.
We look forward to seeing our IBD community tomorrow at Portland Take Steps!
Miss Washington Joins
Western Washington Take Steps!
We are excited to welcome Miss Washington, Regan Gallo, as this year’s Western Washington Take Steps Emcee!
Regan has been volunteering and fundraising with the Northwest Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation for the past nine years. As Miss Washington, Regan is passionate about chronic disease awareness, prevention, and advocacy and is using the platform to highlight her initiative Making the Invisible Visible: Advocating for those with Chronic Disease. She continues to share her patient experience with others as the challenges and treatments of all chronic diseases are similar. Since she got involved with the Foundation, Regan has participated in many past Take Steps events as walker/ fundraiser, volunteer, local champion and celebrity, and now adds event host and Emcee to that list.
Join us on May 20th at Jefferson Park in Seattle when Regan kicks off our annual Western Washington Take Steps walk! Register today!
On walk day, we come together as one powerful community to show those suffering from IBD that they are not alone. Every day, we fight and advocate for a future where no one else has to live with the uncertainty and pain that comes with IBD.
In honor of World IBD Day on next week on May 19th, you can take even more steps towards a world free of IBD! Donations of $19 or more to any Take Steps event on World IBD Day will be matched up to $19,000 due to a generous donor.
