Friday, April 28th at TruFusion Summerlin, hop on a bike and get pedaling for a cure! You don't have to be a cycling pro to take part - this event is for everyone! Ride sessions are 45 minutes starting at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm. You can pedal with a purpose and have some fun!
The first $100,000 raised will be matched by a generous donation from the Marshall Family Philanthropic Fund. We are currently at $85,693 - help us reach $100,000!
The Spring 2023 Impact Report covers our recent achievements and progress toward our mission to find cures for IBD and improve the quality of life for people affected by Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis:
A Foundation-Supported Project is Yielding a Novel Oral Therapy. IBD patients have significantly increased levels of a protein called GCPII in their guts, which contribute to inflammation and a leaky gut barrier. With financial support from our venture philanthropy program, IBD Ventures, Johns Hopkins researchers created an oral drug that blocks GCPII.
Our New Recipe Finder Makes Eating With IBD Easier.Gut Friendly Recipes is our new online resource designed to help everyone with IBD and other gut issues find recipes that work for their diets.
Our Newly Updated IBD Medication Guide Is Engaging Patients in Their Treatment Decisions. This user-friendly digital tool allows users to search by drug name, class, and administration method.
Foundation Survey Highlights Alarming Nationwide Shortage of Public Restrooms. 53% of the general public said that they or a family member had trouble finding or accessing a public toilet within the prior seven days. Our free We Can't Wait app makes it easy to locate publicly accessible restrooms.
We could not have accomplished any of this without your support. Thank you for continuing to help us move toward a future free from Crohn’s and colitis.
Patient & Family Picnic a Success!
A fun time wad had by all as we got together for the 2023 Patient & Family Picnic on April 16th. Patients shared their stories and experiences, while making connections in the IBD community.
Support Groups
Our support groups will continue virtually until we are able to coordinate safe in-person meeting environments. Join one of our many virtual support group options, without the hassle of commuting.
